ESU TECHNOLOGY(3 SYSTEMS)
In slag heated to 1,700° C to 2,000° C, metal droplets melt off a self-consuming electrode in a protective gas atmosphere and solidify almost simultaneously in a water-cooled mold.
VLBO TECHNOLOGY(2 SYSTEMS)
Arcs are continuously ignited under vacuum between the melting electrode and the melting sump using the direct current principle, causing metal droplets to detach from the tip of the electrode. In a few moments, these then solidify again in a water-cooled copper mold.
SAWING
Several band saws up to a diameter of 1,500 mm and maximum piece weights of up to 65 tons.
GRINDING
We grind on our block grinding machines up to a block weight of 65 tons.
