We exclusively use the electric steelmaking process (melting by electric arc furnace). Compared to the blast furnace route, production in an electric arc furnace is more flexible, specialized, and environmentally friendly. A particularly advantageous aspect is the use of electricity from renewable energy sources, which drastically reduces the CO₂ footprint of steel production.
