Oil-hardening high-performance die steel with deep hardening and maximum high-temperature wear resistance for high surface pressures. Preferred for dies or blasting dies of all sizes and engravings for forging hard steels and for dies in forging machines, hammer and press saddles, jaws, dies and punches for the manufacture of screws, nuts, rivets and bolts, hot countersinking punches and hot shear knives. For processing light and heavy metals as extrusion and pipe extrusion dies, pressure plates, die holders, die holder inserts, with medium thermal stress and for molding dies. Can be supplied as required in the form of rods or blocks forged on all sides, annealed, but preferably tempered to strengths of 1000 to 1400 N/mm2 (up to 1600 N/mm2 with subsequent tempering by the consumer).
